Laser Cutting Vinyl Safely

Laser Cutting of Self-Adhesive films is becoming more popular. In virtually all PVC laser cutting operations, fumes are given off in some form as the laser burns off the substrate. The fumes are a mixture of pa rticulate and gaseous matter and can have important effects on health, laser efficiency and product contamination of the products being lasered.
