Friday 28th September 2012, Grafityp UK Ltd, along with thousands of people across the UK, joined in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Thanks to the efforts of Kate Griffiths who organised the Grafityp event, and all the staff who supported this worthy cause, over £100 was raised.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support’s largest fundraising event and in 2011, 51,000 people signed up to the coffee morning raising a record £10 million.

This year, Kate Griffiths decided to hold a coffee morning at the Grafityp premises.
Kate decorated the staff room with promotional material, banners and balloons provided by Macmillan Cancer Support and more importantly enticed staff to buy scrumptious cakes and fancy coffee in aid of the charity. The event proved to be an enjoyable day for everyone whilst at the same time raising money for a very worthy cause.

Cancer is the toughest fight most of us will face with around 2 million people currently living with cancer in the UK, most of us know someone whose life has been affected by it. Macmillan Cancer Support provides medical, emotional, practical and financial support to sufferers and their families whilst also campaigning for a better cancer care system.

Everyone at Grafityp is proud to have put on a few pounds whilst losing a few from their pocket in aid of this event.
